    Inform your Insurer

    In the event of damage, that is, damage due to an accident, first and foremost, as a policyholder, you will have to inform your insurance company, and submit the duly filled claim form and also inform the police, to enable them to depute a surveyor.

    Don't attempt to move the vehicle from the accident spot without the permission from the police or the insurance company

    Damage Assessment

    The insurance company will send a surveyor to assess the damages. The surveyor will prepare a report and pass it on to the insurer and you will also receive a copy.

    Send your Car for Repairs

    In order to avail the cashless claim service you need to get your car repaired only at the network garages of your insurer. One advantage of cashless claim is you do not have to pay for the repairs upfront to the garage for the covered damages, the insurance company will pay only for the repairs that are covered in your policy directly to the garage.

    Send your Car to the Garage for Repairs

    Based on the surveyor’s report, you can send the car to the garage and arrange for a repair. In the reimbursement claim process you can get your car repaired at any garage.

    Submit your Bills

    After the repair is done, you will have to submit the duly signed bills and documents by the garage to the surveyor, who in turn will send it to the insurance company.

    5.

    Reimbursement of your Bills

    If all the documents are in place, the insurance provider will reimburse your bills only which are covered in your policy. You’ll have to pay for the services which aren’t covered in your policy.

  • Duly filled and signed claim form
  • KYC
  • Copy of insurance policy
  • Copy of vehicle RC
  • License copy of the driver driving the vehicle at the time of the accident.
